POWER OF PINK AND PLAID

Pink is a hue traditionally associated with all things “girly.” For some reason, a lot of women, including myself, are simply drawn to the Barbie-esque shade. Pink puts me in a joyful mood and brings out the picky side of my personality, and I must say, pink fashion gets me in a dreamy, almost nostalgic state of mind. And as I searched the Internet for some of the best beauty blogs and Instagram accounts that cater to the daintier side of my sartorial preferences, my eyes came across a whole lot of pink. As a hub for style inspiration of every kind, Pinterest is a world fashion girls live in. I get my daily dose of inspiration, soak up dreamy ideas around big seasonal themes.

So if you think you’re in need of a little pink inspiration — or maybe you are already obsessed with the color pink? Either way, you’re not alone, considering there are a ton of pink beauty blogs dedicated to spreading love for the very pretty, pastel color. OKAY … enough of pink talking..now come to plaid. There’s no “right” way to wear plaid. Your outfit is more than your top and bottom. Wearing plaid is a great way to give a burst of color to outfits that are dying to look a little more vibrant.

I combined this FLARE PLAID PANTS from @MANGO and PINK SWEATER from @Sonoma to give it a contrasting and sharp look. This whole look is little playful yet traditional because women have tons of awesome options when it comes to playing with plaid.. RIGHT ??
